Regent Quarter, Kings Cross

Regent Quarter

Located immediately adjacent to Kings Cross station, Regent Quarter is a mixed-use urban regeneration project. The total site area of 5.8 acres is all within a sensitive conservation area and some of the buildings are listed. The site was assembled over many years and detailed planning consent was obtained for a range of employment generating uses including an hotel, offices, shops, bars, restaurants and residential apartments.

The scheme comprises four blocks, of which Block A was sold in 2005 and Blocks B & C were developed out by P&O between 2004 & 2006. Both phases let extremely well and were subsequently sold to La Salle  on behalf of their London Office Fund. The final phase, Block D, will deliver a mix of commercial, residential and retail space.

In February 2011 Istithmar P&O Estates (IPOE), entered into to a Joint Venture partnership with Henderson Global Investors to deliver Block D. The JV will speculatively develop the scheme; IPOE are the development and project managers and HGI will be providing development funding. For further information on Block D please visit the dedicated website - www.regentquarter.com

Once fully completed, Regent Quarter will have delivered over 220,000 sq ft of offices, 64,000 sq ft of retail and restaurant accommodation, a 277 bed hotel and 175 apartments.
